FOOTNER FOREST PRODUCTS LTD.>>> Public Involvement

An important aspect of the DFMP and the CSA certification is providing opportunity for public involvement. Footner Forest Products is present at trade shows in the local area and holds joint open houses with other companies in the many surrounding communities.

At both the trade shows and open houses, the public is encouraged to obtain information about the Footner Forest Products mill, its production process and its surrounding woodlands. A Public Advisory Group was initiated and has worked hard to help Footner Forest Products develop and refine its management practices to include the desires of the local community.
